CURRENT OPENINGS

ASSISTANT QUALITY INSPECTOR

We have a new opportunity within our quality department for an assistant inspector. Applicants should be computer literate with a background in precision engineering. Previous experience of working in a quality department would be an advantage, but not essential.

The role will include carrying out dimensional and other checks to precision machined components and assemblies, raising orders on, and processing the receipt of sub-contract services, documentation checks and adherence checks against internal procedures and customer requirements.

SKILLED POSITIONS - MECHANICAL DEPARTMENT

Whilst we are not actively recruiting right now, we are always keen to hear from skilled toolmakers (Turning & Milling) who are interested in working in our busy machine shop.

Our skilled positions have multi-levelled remuneration packages with an OTE including overtime in excess of £30k

Our ideal candidates would have the following:

Experience of XYZ control systems would be an advantage, but not essential

Be able to interpret engineering drawings

Be able to select tools & tooling and set up their own work

Positive “can do” attitude to work and new challenges

Team player who can communicate and work well with others

OTE £23k-£30k/yr depending on experience, performance and overtime levels

SKILLED POSITIONS - ELECTRICAL/ELECTRONIC DEPARTMENT

All of the skilled positions in our busy electrical/electronic department are currently filled, but we are often looking for good skilled engineers, so why not drop in a CV and introduction letter now so that we can keep your details on file ready to go.

Applicants should ideally have the ability to understand and manufacture from electrical/electronic schematics.

Fully or semi-skilled applicants would be considered, with any experience of electrical/electronic panel building, soldering, looming, PCB assembly or loom assembly.

Are you looking fro a career in engineering?

Keyford are actively looking to take on new apprentices on a regular basis for positions in our mechanical engineering department.

Whilst still at college full time, we will offer you the chance to come in during your college holiday periods and gain valuable workplace experience, whilst getting paid for the time you are with us.

Once you begin your full apprenticeship, you will be paid full time and your day relaese college days will be sponsered by us.
